Oh Allah, bring me back, to that place of peace.

Salam..
as i sip on a cup of peppermint tea, it reminded me so much of a very delightful experience i once had.
Woke up to a sound, i thought was azan,
Turned out to be, a wake up call for Fajr.
Opened my eyes, dressed into my jubah.
So i walked on the streets, barely anyone in sight
Looking left and right, all shops closed.
As if all of the city, is in deep state of rest.
A lit-up tea stall, all set for customers.
As if never closed, always bright.
I took out a riyal and paid for mint tea
Right ahead, bright lights shine from towers.
I walked to the lights, and sat on the pillars.
Sipped up my cup, morning breeze on my cheeks
A warm sound, lights up my heart.
Unusual sense of calmness, up in the air.
The muazzin calls, people for fajr.
So i had my last sip, and answered the call.
Nothing can compare, to such taste of peace.
Oh Allah, bring me back, to that place of peace.
